Julie Simpson is one of the most exciting piano entertainers in the Phoenix region. She’s best known for bringing a dynamic energy to the stage, all while performing your favorite requests. From the Motown classics to today’s hits, she captures the sound, the fun, and the passion behind every song she plays. With over 18 years in the music industry, she’s experienced in performing at types of venues: restaurants, happy hours, private parties, corporate events, weddings, pre-game sporting events, piano bars — you name it!
Julie’s Dueling Piano Show is available as a duo with two pianos, or as a trio with two pianos and drums. She has a number of different performance partners and will select her “Friends” based on the specific needs of your event.
Julie grew up in Granite City, IL, just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, MO. She began playing the piano at the young age of four and continued growing her musical talent through performing in church. She continued entertaining throughout her teens and became a drummer in band, where, admittedly, she was a “total band dork, and loved every minute of it!”
She began her career as a dueling piano performer in 2001 at the opening of the first Big Bang Dueling Piano bar in Downtown, St. Louis. She became a very dynamic entertainer and was asked to move to Tempe, Arizona in 2002 to open another club as the Entertainment Director and performer. At each venue Julie performs, she continues to rock out and provide an awesome experience for everyone every time she takes the stage.
